Was there a Portuguese player at the draft? In VtES_20091205_Round1_Table1.JPG picture, someone as a box with a portuguese beer logo on it :)
Sagres!
Nope, no Portuguese players. But our playgroup in Gelsenkirchen is playing in the pub "Ambiente" with a a Portuguese owner. And he's serving Sagres (and giving away t-shirts).
Are Sleeves on a Draft not allowed or why they play without, because on sealed they protect the cards?
Sleeves are definetely allowed during draft tournaments. But there's usually little to no time between the initial draft and the 1st round to sleeve the cards. And people don't care to sleeve their draft decks, since they rip the decks apart after the tournament anyhow. So why bother sleeving in the first place..
Got it, "Ambiente" means "Environment" in english :) and it seems to suit it just fine.
Yes, Sagres is one of the main Portuguese beers.
