Deck of the Month: July 2012: Bankia
It took me some (to say the least) time to pick a winner for the Deck of the Month July 2012, mostly because at least a first glance, there was very little exciting about the Deck of the Month July 2012. So after taking a third look at the decks I found two little gems. First, a variation (or better fusion) of two decks, between an Unexpected Coalition deck (similar to the Deck of the Month November 2011) and a Weenie Dragons Breath Rounds deck. But little more interesting is the winner for July, a rather fearsome deck named Bankia played by Txus Alutiz (Spain), using both Spirit Marionette and Temptation. In a single turn an opposing vampire could be stolen by Spirit Marionette, emptied (almost) by using Heidelberg Castle and then immediately stolen again with Temptation. The Obeah cards can also be used by most of the non-Salubri vampires, since they require either Obfuscate, Presence or Dominate.

Interesting deck.. I had something similar, using Petweret and Agent of Power / Spontaneous Powers.
Pentweret already has obe + for + SER.
This allowed usage of Eurayle (no scarce penalty). Eurayle has an interesting pre. But she could also play Renewed Vigor (since I was playing minion Taps) and untap Pentweret when necessary.
Well deserved.
Txus is a great player, very imaginative deck builder and an awesome person !!
His greatest feat was getting first seed on the final table of Spanish National with an Agaithas + Forestal grinder.
Damn, the spanish and their mashups always impress me =)
I was his prey during the finals playing a Lucian the Perfect Power bleed deck, I was dead the turn after I got out Lucian. Worst place ever for my deck, but I was 2nd seed and Txus was 1st. So well done for him :)
I think this type of deck is a very, very well suited match-up against the now frequently encountered Girls or Inner Circle bleed decks you see nowadays.
thank you very much to all for your comments :) sorry acbishop for being my prey, and away from combat, you came me perfect. The advantage of this deck over petweret is that when I get an IC and I can steal it without acting, the other wins over pool, it is faster.
I will draw the Khobar Towers, and the codex did not use it.
a greeting!
extrala sorry, can I add a comment to the above?
the IC does not act and do not throw a villein
thank you very much for choosing my deck! xd
