Deck of the Month: August 2008: Assamite Council

This time the deck of the month is a clever copycat of Matt Morgan's original deck concept, built and piloted by Robyn Tatu to a tournament win. The deck is a variation of older Assamite Breed & Boon. It adds an Anarch component with the Feestakes and "CrimethInc., but most importantly it uses two of the more nasty political actions with "Revolutionary Council" and "Reckless Agitation". Vote majority is based on "Alamut" and the Baron titles.

Deck Name: Assamite Council
Created By: Robyn Tatu After Matt Morgan
Description: I played with Matt playing his version, but I have no idea what he's actually packing in the deck. This is what seemed like it would work.

A bit too many fee stakes to my liking. Wouldn't one copy of each be enough?

I don't claim the deck is perfect, but it is the first decklist I got my hands on. ;)

Also, the basic idea behind the multiple Feestakes is to get one or two of them fast, to be to start voting. With only 6 Feestakes on 90 library cards, you can wait for long. If one would like reduce the number of Feestakes, you would need to take out other cards as well.
