Poll Results: "VtES as Living Card Game (LCG)"

Here are the results of the latest poll if the readers of this blog think, that VtES as a Living Card Game (LCG) is a viable option for the future of the game. 182 readers of this blog have voted in this poll:
  • I would appreciate that. -- 28 (15%)
  • I can live with VtES as LCQ. -- 47 (25%)
  • I prefer the TCG model. -- 95 (52%)
  • I trade/buy single cards only. -- 0 (0%)
  • I don't care. -- 12 (6%)
A majority of the readers (52%) think that the current Trading Card Game (TCG) model is still the best option for the game. While only a rather small minority (15%) think that the Living Card Game model is the way to go.

I'm surprised that only 52% are in favor of the TCG-format. That means, that appr. every second player would be okay with a living card game-format. That's really a big bang. And something to think about.

In the playgroups I play there are some guys, who copy/print cards out and play with it. I'm perfectly okay with that, because I think, this great game should be played by as many beings as possible, no matter of their financial possibilities. Maybe the LCG is the way to go and this little poll seems to tell us, that it wouldn't annoy that many people.
