Earlier today White Wolf/CCP has officially confirmed in a news article on the White Wolf website, that the release date of the next VtES expansion "Heirs to the Blood" has been moved to February 3rd, 2010.Oscar Garza, the organized play coordinator for VtES, adds the following note to the changed release date information in the above mentioned article:
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I understand the pains this particular release has put on the community as a whole. The problems we have run into were unforeseen and regrettable but solvable. This set will be released to the standards of quality we try to enforce or every set we release. You will not be disappointed.

Yeah, of course, sure .. apparently White Wolf is not the only one making mistakes.. ;)
